PEDRO ANOTONIO CEVALLOS, violin, 2011
A native of Chicago, violinist Pedro Antonio Cevallos is an avid supporter and performer of new music. His musical study began at the age of three under the direction of Lydia Monahan. In 2011, Cevallos was working toward a bachelor’s degree in violin performance at Roosevelt University, under the direction of Stefan Hersh.

GREG HALL, viola, 2011
Greg Hall started playing piano at the age of six, and switched to viola at age 11. He continued his piano study later, along with guitar and bass. He played in the Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra throughout high school, and with the New River Valley Symphony throughout college. Currently, In 2011, Hall was finishing his music technology degree at Virginia Tech.

MEGHAN HEEREY, violin, 2011
Born in Taejon, South Korea, Meghan Heerey was raised in Wisconsin. In 2011, Heerey was a violin performance major at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.

MATT MAJORS, cello, 2011
Matt Majors has been playing cello since sixth grade. He has played with the Youth Orchestras of Prince William, in addition to All-County, Regionals, and All-State Orchestras of Virginia. He is currently a member of the New River Valley Symphony. In 2011, Majors was a fourth-year student at Virginia Tech, majoring in music education and music technology.

MIKAILA POWERS, viola, 2011
Mikaila Powers, violist, was pursuing a master’s degree at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University, under the tutelage of Lawrence Neuman in 2011. During her first year at Roosevelt, Powers performed in the Honors Chamber Music Showcase.  She received a bachelor’s degree in music performance from Boston Conservatory in 2009.

MICHAEL SCHNEIDER, violin, 2011
Michael Schneider is a Florida-born violist, was starting his second year at Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) in 2011. He has held many orchestra positions including the CIM Orchestra, Miami Symphony Orchestra, and many youth orchestras throughout Florida. Schneider has attended Bowdoin International Music Festival, Interharmony Music Festival, Killington Music Festival, and Summit Music Festival.

DAVID STENBERG, violin, 2011
David Stenberg started playing violin at the age of six. He has played with the Roanoke Youth Symphony and the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio. He has also played with the New River Valley Symphony and served as concertmaster to the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. In 2011, Stenberg was a senior at Virginia Tech, studying music and mechanical engineering.

YUKO YOSHIKADO, violin, 2011
IN 2011, violinist Yuko Yoshikado had studied with Maestro Robert Davidovici at Florida International University, Miami, since 2004, after previously taking lessons from him in Tokyo.
